COVID-19 Update for South Australia

The Local Government Areas of Mount Gambier City, District Council of Grant and Wattle Range Council have moved to Level 3 restrictions.

Key restrictions for health services in these areas include:

  • 1 person per 4 square metres 
  • Must take reasonable steps to maintain 1.5m physical distancing 
  • Approved contact tracing required (other than in-home health services) 
  • Masks are required for shared indoor places but can be removed by the client if required to receive the service or a valid exemption
  • COVID Safe Plan Required

The rest of South Australia remains under Level 1 restrictions which includes the use of masks for health care services, except for the person receiving the service, if necessary for the provision of the health care service or a valid exemption.
