The Premier has confirmed 11 October as the date lockdown restrictions will start easing in New South Wales. The current restrictions will remain in place until this time. It is expected that NSW will have reached the 70% double dose target by this date.
At the 80% double dose vaccination date (late October), travel will resume through regional New South Wales and fully vaccinated people will be allowed to have 10 visitors at home. Community sport will also resume.
A third stage has been set for 1 December, when it's expected the state will have reached 90% double-dose vaccination and the state will be at ‘COVID-normal’. Unvaccinated people will be subject to the same rules as those who have been vaccinated and masks will no longer be required indoors.
We will keep you updated when restrictions for psychology eases and provide further information on re-opening safely.
