AAPi will provide further information as soon as it becomes available.

We know how stressful it has been waiting for an announcement regarding telehealth. I have spoken to many of you this week about your concerns for clients that have come to depend on telehealth and members that need telehealth for their own health concerns. AAPi believes telehealth for all Australians increases access to the expert mental health care provided by our members. Permanent telehealth discussions are still ongoing and AAPi will continue to advocate strongly for universal telehealth.

Thank you to our incredible members who have contributed to the millions of mental health telehealth consultations so far. Your adaptability and dedication is inspiring.

Take care,

Tegan Carrison

Executive Director
