At 6pm yesterday (Friday 2 September) the Queensland 'Workers in a healthcare setting (COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements) Direction (No. 4)' was revoked and replaced with the 'COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Workers in Residential Aged Care and Disability Services Direction'.
This new Direction sets out the COVID-19 vaccination requirements for residential aged care workers and shared disability accommodation service workers.
If you work in either of these areas, please read the Direction carefully. This link also has further information. Vaccination policies in other areas of healthcare in Queensland, including allied health private practice, will move to the responsibility of employers.
