Young People Friendship Bubbles
Just in time for school holidays. The NSW Government has announced friendship bubbles from today.
Young people under the age of 18 will be able to form a “friends bubble” in groups of three and will be allowed to visit each other’s homes with some restrictions.
Young people must stay in groups of no more than three and the participants cannot change.
All involved in the arrangement must live within five kilometres of each other, or within the same LGA, and all adults in the children’s households must be fully vaccinated. Adults can drop children off but must not interact with each other.
Byron, Kempsey and Tweed Lockdown
Byron, Kempsey and Tweed will go back into lockdown from 5pm today. The lockdown will last for 7 days.
