Dr Madeline Wishart is a psychologist with clinical endorsement and a longstanding focus on non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) and the emotional lives of young people navigating distress and dysregulation. With a PhD and dual Masters in Professional and Clinical Psychology, Madeline blends academic rigor with experience across education, community, private, and psychiatric settings. Her career spans roles as a youth, school, and trauma counsellor, and clinical psychologist.
In research and academia, Madeline has contributed as a sessional lecturer and project officer at Victoria University, and as a research officer with the Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) in Melbourne. Madeline divides her time between her private practice, Wishart Psychology in Williamstown, Victoria, and professional development, supervision, and, consultative work with schools and organisations through Psych Voice.
