Meeting competency in Psychometric Assessment

The assessment and measurement competency requires provisional psychologists to administer, score and interpret a range of different psychometric assessment tools. Some of these instruments are not readily available in the workplace and not all supervisors have access to test materials, so provisional psychologists are often required to access training and/or external supervision to meet this competency.

Claire Trevitt from The Growing Therapist will talk you through the following:

  • Ahpra guidelines for meeting competency in psychometric assessment
  • Assessments on the NPE curriculum
  • Different ways to access test materials
  • Time management tips
  • Q & A session
