HR Hotspot: Contractor v/s Employee

New federal laws have introduced statutory guidance for defining the employer-worker-contactor relationship.

It’s important for psychology practice owners to review their employer-worker-contractor relationships to ensure they are paying workers their lawful entitlements. In this webinar, Anna Pannuzzo from WorkPlacePLUS will discuss:

  • working arrangements and types of engagement
  • the difference between an employee and an independent contractor
  • the importance of clarifying, defining and formalising worker roles, and
  • the implications of underpayment, wage theft, and sham contracting

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
