The focus will be practical techniques for clinicians themselves, including somatic reset strategies, breath techniques for regulation between sessions, resonant voice techniques for sustaining voice throughout long client days, and managing emotional labour through body-breath connection.

About our presenter: Sarah Wilmot

Sarah Wilmot is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who has worked in a wide variety of health and education settings, including acting schools, universities and hospitals. She has taught nationally and internationally on speech, breath and voice.  Her private practice Speech Pathways is in Melbourne.

Sarah has presented for Speech Pathology Australia, Australian Voice Association, VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association), Breathe 22 International conference and has lectured for the Bradcliff Breathing Method, and Buteyko Educators Association.

Sarah is a classically trained singer and a voice/sound artist, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and Linguistics and a Diploma in Creative Industries. She brings deep presence, listening, humour and decades of training and experience to her practice. .
