In my therapy work, I hear that my clients are seeking: practical tools and techniques; a Psychologist who can support them to improve both at home and at work; improvement in their mood; better techniques to manage stress and anxiety; and freedom from negative mindsets. In short, they are seeking to return to good mental health and want to thrive in both their personal and professional lives. My experience working as a Psychologist, leader and HR professional enables me to support people to be the best versions of themselves both at home and at work.
The approach I take in my therapy work is: practical and strengths-based; current and future focused – we touch on past issues where it may be helpful to gain insight into your current challenges; focused around your goals for therapy – that way we both know what we are working towards; and based on cutting edge research and psychological techniques.
My clients describe me as relaxed, approachable, and solution focused. The approach I like to take in working with clients is one that is focused around an individuals strengths and the belief that our skills and abilities aren't a fixed set of traits but something which can be developed through effort and practice.
