Biography:
Rebecca is a registered psychologist of over 20 years with special interests in body image, eating disorders, body confidence, self-esteem, existential and spiritual health and holistic wellbeing. She has a passion for providing supervision to early career psychologists and can provide support and mentoring to develop therapeutic skills across the lifespan and build a positive mindset, resilience, confidence and manage imposter syndrome. Rebecca has worked with clients of all ages in various community, hospital, private and government-funded agencies including specialist services for eating disorders, addictions, youth, families, parents, children and dual diagnosis (mental health & addiction). She has experience working with families, parents, children, adolescents and adults in individual, relationship and group therapy intervention. Rebecca uses an integrated approach to therapy including clinical hypnosis, EMDR, schema therapy, psychodynamic, family systems, motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT and EFT. She is a credentialed eating disorder therapist. Rebecca enjoys managing, mentoring, educating and supervising her team of psychologists at Berwick Psychology & Hypnosis.
