Biography:
I am a fully registered psychologist with 20+ years experience working in private and public settings with a wide range of different clientele. I provide psychological treatment and support which is person-centred and focused on maximising human potential. In terms of theoretical approaches, I am trained in various therapies such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR and CBT for eating disorders. Mindfulness techniques are also central to my work and practice. The types of psychological conditions I often treat are as follows: addiction, trauma, mood and anxiety disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders, grief and loss, life transition issues. I primarily only work with adult clients, although I also work with adolescents with eating disorders.
