Mood and anxiety disorders
Trauma and stress-related disorders
Chronic health issues including pain
Gender dysphoria
Grief (including pet loss)

Dissociative disorders including DID

Megan strives to create a diversity-friendly space for all clients and has undertaken training in neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practices. She has plenty of experience working with people who happen to be gender or sexually diverse, people in non-monogamous, non-traditional or kink-positive relationships, rainbow families, sex workers and other minority groups.
Although Megan predominately utilises EMDR, she draws on a range of evidence-based therapy approaches depending on the needs of each individual; some of these include:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Flash Technique (FT)
Schema Therapy
Megan was accredited by Lead the Way as a ‘therapy dog team’ with Valentina ‘Tina’ the Italian Greyhound. Many clients find the presence of animals in the therapy space helps to put them at ease, especially children. Tina can be an active part of yours or your child’s therapy plan, or if preferred, can simply have a nap under her special blanket and let the humans take the lead.
Megan’s personal interests include trauma-informed yoga, the psychological benefits of connection to nature and nature experience, animal behaviour, meditation and mindfulness. In her spare time Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends, bushwalking, taking Tina out for puppuccinos, cooking, listening to music, visiting art galleries, attending theatre and concerts and even playing a few games on the Playstation or Switch from time to time.
