'What they didn't teach us at Uni'
You’re an experienced psychologist, fantastic at what you do.
Maybe it’s time to go out on your own. Maybe you’ve already done that.
Either way you’ve realised one fundamental problem: Uni never told you being a great psychologist doesn’t equate to being a skilled business owner.
Most of us start out in private practice making it up as we go along. We seek guidance from Facebook groups or uni supervisors, crossing our fingers it’s not the blind leading the blind. In this workshop, Tess will teach you what she wishes she’d known when she began her private practice over 20 years ago.
Six core pillars of business form the workshop’s foundation: Operations, Finances, Products/Services, Sales, Marketing, Staffing/Outsourcing.
Participants will receive reading recommendations, templates, resources (and a surprise freebie). Content is wrapped around the Code of Conduct for Psychologists, client-centred care, and clinician burnout prevention. You’ll come in feeling like a skilled psychologist, but you’ll leave thinking like a CEO.
Presented by Dr Tess Crawley.
